Missed Post (2017-07-09)

I know it’s only nine pm, but I am SO EXHAUSTED. Today was the actor cold read of the writing workshop scripts in front of the directors and even though I didn’t have to do anything, I was nervous and so hyped up on adrenaline for the entire three hours (because, of course my script was read second to last) that I just immediately crashed.

BUT THEN! I had to go to a birthday dinner basically IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS and for some reason we stayed at the restaurant for OVER THREE HOURS?!?! (And, yes, part of it was that service was pretty slow, but that last hour was excessive and unnecessary).

so exhausted 😦

Writing Workshop – Concrit Please!

I just finished a draft of my script for the writing workshop and I would love it if everyone could take a look at it and comment with some constructive criticism!

The link is here–it’s a Google Doc which I’ve set so that people who have the link can comment.

My odds of getting my script produced increased because some people dropped out, so now I have a 3/14 chance!

Wish me luck! Or, better yet, point out the obviously awkward parts of my script! I’d appreciate it greatly! 😀

Updated draft, still the same link! Would appreciate any feedback 😀

Okay final call for concrit (for this script in particular)! Just had my table read today and mostly just restructured scenes, but I did add in some new lines so I’d appreciate some extra eyes there.

Next week is when the producers and directors get to look over the scripts and decide, once and for all, whose play will be produced.

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!! O_O

AO3 Cross Posting – Progress Report #2 / Missed Post (2017-07-01)

My writing workshop table read is tomorrow, so I was mostly focussing on that, creativity-wise… but I also kept up with the ao3 cross posting whenever my brain needed a break and I’m now in December of 2015, so…

I have so many not-series that I don’t know how to categorize :/

Man, I could read about how Sasuke is g o n e for Shikako ALL DAY. I love the Road One snippets. Also, congrats for getting in to the writing workshop! I hope you have fun and learn something useful.

Thanks! (For both!) 😀

Regardless of whether or not they end up together, I just cannot unsee Sasuke being in love with Shikako so it’s not HARD to get into his head but its also a little embarrassing because… boy, please, a little restraint. (Nah, I’m just kidding. It’s way too amusing to interpret Sasuke as a lovestruck fool. And I mean that in the fondest of ways)

The writing workshop is very much for scripts–which I only have limited, unofficial experience in–as opposed to prose narrative which I do here and have developed more so it’ll definitely be a change of pace for me.

One of my many many “fantasies” is to write a podcast much in the style of Welcome to Nightvale, so this is a step in the right direction for sure.

Writing Workshop!

I don’t know why I’m making this post, since it’s not a missed post announcement, but I’m very excited and considering this is my writing blog it’s not too irrelevant so here goes:

I’ve joined a writing workshop/class for the next couple of weeks, and I have a 3/17 chance of having my short story script actually produced as a play. Not very high, yes, but it’s a step in the right direction and even if I don’t get my play produced then I’m still learning an amazing amount so…

Wish me luck? 😀

I might post bits and pieces of it here (like the outline or some dialogue which I have to do for homework) so I’d appreciate some constructive criticism! (Does this count as cheating? Ah, dang… I don’t know…)
